Black History Month Midday Matinee: The Hate U Give
February 3, 1:00 PM (Doors Open at 12:45 PM)
Join us for our Black History Month Midday Matinee. Our feature film is “The Hate U Give”. Parents and caregivers please use discretion when bringing younger children. The film is rated PG-13 for mature thematic elements, some violent content, drug material and language. Doors open at 12:45 and the movie will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. A complimentary bag of popcorn will be provided at this event and additional refreshments will be sold as well.
At the Table with Jesus Bible Study (Virtual)
Tuesdays, 6 PM
This season’s virtual Bible study will cover mealtime conversations with Jesus. All are welcome! Our virtual Bible studies are on Tuesdays at 6 PM. This is a 6-week series that begins February 13.
Join us as we celebrate Black History Month at TLC! Worship and celebrate our history and all that God has brought us through at worship service at 11 AM! Then, join us for a soul food dinner after service. The cost of dinner is $10 for adults.

120th Anniversary
Celebrate the 120th Anniversary of Transfiguration Lutheran Church all weekend long! Join us on Saturday, November 11 for banquet as we rejoice in how good God has been to us “Down Through the Years”. But the party doesn’t stop there! Worship service begins at 11 AM on Sunday, November 12 at 11 AM. There will be a stirring message from Rev. Dr. Victor Belton, music from all of TLC choirs, and special presentations of TLC’s past, present, and future!
Celebrate the birth of Christ and prepare for his second coming with our virtual Advent services. Advent services will be held on Zoom on Wednesdays at 6 PM starting November 29.
Are you looking from the perfect, inexpensive gift? Shop toys, clothes, jewelry, gadgets, and more at the TLC Christmas Bazaar hosed by the Pastor’s Aide Committee on December 3 after worship service (1:30 PM).
TLC Christmas Concert
Praise and worship as we celebrate the birth of our Savior! Enjoy the music of Christmas while meditating on the true reason for the season. Hear from the TLC Mass Choir, TLC Chancel Choir, TLC Male Chorus, as well as several special presentations and guest performances!
