As kids came back to school this fall, educators and parents stepped up to educate their children in a new formats. We are so grateful to have members at our church aiding in the formation of our next generation. We have educators all over the St. Louis and East St. Louis area, shaping minds in St. Louis Public Schools, University City School District, Pattonville School District, Unity Lutheran Christan Elementary School, and St. Louis Community College- Florissant Valley.

One of our members, Mrs. Monique Hite, was recently highlighted as a mySci teacher. According to the mySci website,”The mySci K-5 curriculum strives to develop the region’s next generation of scientific thinkers by engaging elementary students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through interactive learning experiences and creative curriculum.” She is pursuing a PhD and is researching methods to create humanized STEM curriculum for students of color.
We thank God for our educators and shout out our members who are working with and for our young learners: Rose Green, Monique Hite, Leslie Jones, Rev. Aaron Dickerson, Charlene Dickerson, Keyera Dickerson, and Robert Miller.
“In the same way, encourage the young men to live wisely. And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized.” Titus 2:7-8
